Psycological test
Ok, I made a test the other day. As in every developing country people never stop their car before the line at the trafic light. They usually drive it until the lines for people to cross the road. So, I made couple of test the other day. Between two trafic lights, I drove faster than others and stopped before the line than everybody else. It was unbelievable, everybody else also stopped before the line. I tried it several times and I was really working. People psycologically do what people around does. And sometimes when I drove over the line, every else did the same.
Human being is such an amaing creature...

Funny stories I heard yesterday...
Ok, a friend of mine who works as administrator of IT at one of top universities in Azerbaijan told me 2 funniest stories I heard. So...
One day, he gets a call from old professor that, his computer is broken. He comes and sees the computer inside a box...there are 2-3 holes for cables for monitor, keyboard and switch. The computer have heating inside the box and obviously the processor got burned. When my friend asked the professor why he still keeps the computer inside the box he got the answer: "I was afraid, it could catch virus" hahaha
Another stroy goes this way:
He again goes this time to fix another professor who is very famous scientist. This guy keept his computer inside the safe. Then had hole inside the safe for cables. Those cables goes to another room which has 1 meter wide wall and goes to his assitant. So, when Assistant needed computer, he had to open the safe, turn the comp on and assitant would type from another room. This way, he was doing the protection of his valuable documents...
Hahahaha...
GODDDDDDDDDD, help Azerbaijan. When are we going to get rid of this people from Soviet times?
Grechka

"Grechka" was one of my favorite Russian food until I knew its translation to Azeri:
Grechka= gara bashag (gara means black, bashag is some part of the animal) damn it. I won't eat it again...

Decision: Will not date AZERI girl
I will NOT date Azeri girl, I will NOT even try!!!
Public transportation...
I took public transportation today in Baku. Last time I did it was probably 10 years ago. It is so different, people are really living hard. Conversations, thoughts, people's faces...it was so different... It was quite a shock for me... Azerbaijan needs to improve its minimums. People has to live better..has to!!!
Worst day-yesterday...
Well, the day actually started ok. But my car stopped working in the middle traffic. I lost whole day to take it to service center.
Then, I had to give away tons of money in order to get a mistake fixed on my ID. Damn it, man, it is their mistake, and I am paying tons of money to change the mistake. The system is completely paper based and God... I dont wanna talk about how behind they are with technology.
My dad who came to pick me up from office ended up crashing his car during parking and breaking the back light.
It wasnt all. My Galatasaray lost 3-1 to French team and is out of European competition...
Thoughts...
I havent been having good sleep those days... All night long I would think about work only... How to make it work, what tactics to use, what strategies... and so on...
This night, I couldnt sleep for some other reason... I watched "Kurdlar Vadisi, Irak" before I went to bed... It is a Turkish movie about the situation in Irak...They show what kind of killings are going on there, what americans do, what arabs do...
Tonight, when I put my head to pillow, I thought of other millions of people around the world...I mean, I am in the house, warm and cozy... no worry of cold, terror, food, or money... I worry about completely other stuff... and same exactly time, there are millions of people, around the world... worry about food, terror, cold, place to sleep... it is incredible...
What can I do? How can I help the world... I understand, it wasn't easy for me to be where I am now...But I had some luck, some opprtunities, which I used...
I guess, my role on this earth is to create as many opportunities as possible to others...
Life...
And it is not about the years in your life, it is about the life in your years...
Well, my life has been pretty busy recently. It is all about work... 20 hours per day... but I am happy... and thats what matters...
Silverkey - member of American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan

What AIESEC means???
AIESEC has shown me that happiness is not this grand picture that we want to see at the end of the day but the tools and people around us that help us see that picture...
