Introducing e-Farid...

Trip to Czech Republic
So, I am back... back in New York. Honestly, not really happy to be back...I guess, my days in USA are very limited. Every human being is looking for happiness all their life and I believe I am not really happy to be here.
Anyways... I laugh so hard, when I look at the comments on my previous post. Really... I never meant to be that offensive. Actually most of my ideas about Czech Republic are quite opposite. The post was more like teasing and all of the comments have irony... anyways... here is the truth:
(btw: I am listening to Deep Forest. Thanks for introducing Deep Forest to me!!!)
Trip to Czech Republic was one of my best trips ever!!! I can't forget any moment I spend there. It mainly consisted 3 parts: pre-conference, conference and post-conference:
You should visit my personal
writer's blog to read about pre-conference part of my trip.
In terms of conference, it was very important for me personally. I learned so much about AIESEC. I clearly understand where we stand as AIESEC USA, where we rock, where we suck! I even got so motivated that, I wanted to run for MCP role in USA. I guess, I will not. I have so many ideas and I am so looking forward to de-brief it to the team! Hopefully, AIESEC USA will use all of its potential in near future. fingers crossed...I also gained a lot of friendships...
Post conference was amazing as well.
Shamil, one of few friends of mine from Azerbaijan, came to Prague to visit me. We have not met for past 2 years and it was amazing to have some interesting conversations with him. We did a lot of sightseeing. I did some shopping, played bowling, pool etc... I also met
Michal from Kraft on the last day. I also met a lot of cool people such as
Jana and Pavel who will hopefully be matched with Kraft. We also came up with great idea to travel to
China through Siberia.
I am very happy with my trip and can't wait to visit Czech Republic again!
Czech this out...
My experiences in the Czech Republic:
1. Service in the Czech airlines sucks. Stewardess are rude...
2. Taxis are VWs not Skoda. Skodas are made in the Czech Republic owned by VW and costs much cheaper than VWs.
3. Prague has more erotic shops than all US cities combined
4. KFC and MC Donald's tastes much better in the Czech Republic than in the USA.
5. Nobody ever smiles in Prague, unless they know you
6. Czech food sucks. It is all pork and it is sweet. They don't have the word "spicy" in their vocabulary
7. Napkins are most valuable things in Czech restaurants. You will get so few of them if you are lucky
8. Prague is much more developed city than I thought. They are ready to become full member of EU for sure
9. Music in discos sucks. They have half or full naked girl dancing all the time. You can watch her from TVs outside as well. No need to enter to disco.
10. If you think Czech Republic has cute girls, then you are wrong. Especially, if you think they dress like Ukrainians and Russians, then you are completely wrong. I didn't see any mini skirts, high heals or sexy clothes. Don't tell that it is because of cold weather, Russians wear mini skirt even when it is minus 20 degrees Celsius. Czech girls are not stereotypical Slavic girls.
to be continued...
Live from Prague...
I have a personal reporter. Please

I am lovin it!!!
although...
Czechs are really rude, food sucks and also girls are disappointing...
Czech Republic, here I come...
I am so excited... 4 days left till I will be in Prague...I am going to represent AIESEC USA at Expros 2006 along with Andrew from DC, Anton from Bay Area and
Arthur from Cornell (three A's) but a week earlier...I might even go Amsterdam for couple of days!!!
Can't wait...
All at once...
I have not been blogging much recently... not because my life is boring or something, it is just too many things happening in my life... especially when I am so happy and complete...
I have been noteing down things that I want to blog about, so here it goes... all of it at once:
Czech consulate:Let me start by saying how rude they were to me...I mean, it was so obvious that I am in the consulate of ex-communist country. Every single person had a such an attitude as if my life depends on them and I need them desperately to save me. Funny thing was they were that rude to even their own people. I felt same way when I contacted embassy of Azerbaijan last year and I am sure a lot of foreigners experienced same rudeness with our bureaucrats. Long story short, despite all the challenges I got my visa and plane ticket today. Can't wait to see Prague and more rude people. hehe...

Ohio trip
Amazing trip! It started with me losing my cell phone. Followed by speeding ticket when I was driving 80 mph at 55 mph construction zone. (Thanks GOD didn't go to jail) As soon as I reached Oxford, things changed. I love to hang out with trainees and membership. Impact and Mission is really what keeps me in AIESEC! I participated at elections. Even I was the one who poured water to the head of the CL-elect. I met amazing people such as Andrea, Nei-Nei, Kaitlin, Mark, Nicole, Tiffany and so on. I managed to piss some Greeks off as well went into discussion about Kurds when I was completely drunk. Trip was amazing and OHIO is increasingly becoming my favorite state. I will also never forget my first rock concert as well. I also kicked some ass playing pool.
Khocali genocide
14 years ago those days, Armenians were deleting a village in Azerbaijan. They killed thousands of people, women, men and children with the help of Russian army. My country is mourning at now. Millions of people are living in camps in really difficult conditions. Politicians enjoying the moment while it is people who are suffering. Hope the conflict will be over soon but I don't think I will ever forget what Armenians did to us since Armenians never forget what we did to them.

AIESEC Azerbaijan
The best news I got as soon as I reached to NYC was AIESEC extention to Azerbaijan. 2 years ago, I emailed some azeri students about AIESEC offering my help to start AIESEC in Azerbaijan. Only one of them, Bakhtiyar Haciyev, was very serious and I had a brief meeting with him Baku. Since then, he seriously took over the project and Azerbaijan officially got admitted to AIESEC a little ago! Long live Bakhtiyar, long live Azerbaijan, long live AIESEC!
Now it is time to AIESECize Azeri youth and bring peace to the region!

Friendlies
Yesterday, there were some friendly football matches all around Europe:
Azerbaijan - Ukraine - 0-0 (good job Azerbaijan)
Turkey - Czech Republic 2-2 (Umit Karan-2 goals in last 2 minutes!)
Italy - Germany 4-1 (I still believe they will win World Cup)
