Introducing e-Farid...
Home, sweet home
Azerbaijan... so much to say about this country... a lot of exciting things are happening... but most of all, I am having reverse culture shock... Imagine, I haven't lived here last 6-7 years...
Today, I had 2 great meetings...One at the US embassy for visa... and I got it!!! I will be back to NYC soon... like this saturday...
Another meeting I had was with first assistant of Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan. I went to meeting with Bakhtiyar who is starting AIESEC in Azerbaijan... It was also extremely productive and 2 large companies and ministry agreed to help AIESEC in Azerbaijan financially...
It is really good news for me knowing AIESEC will be expanded to Azerbaijan before February!!!
Go AIESEC Go!!!
Going to Azerbaijan
Going home..after almost 2.5 years... yes, I have been in Azerbaijan last year, but only for 2 days... I am even having hard time now to remember my parents' face... I wonder how is everything? Are the changed a lot? Is country changed a lot? we will see...
So much work to do here as well, but I have to go in order to take my visa...Hope everything will work out for me... It has been already a lot of frustration...
And I am not sure if I will be missing USA, but I will definitly miss someone in USA...
Lonely?
On my way from airport, homeless person was singing a song about how lonely he is in the subway...and his song made me question:
Does having family, relatives, tons of friends and collegues mean you are not lonely?
I do not know... I kinda feel lonely...
Youssef is leaving...
My roommate (at SSC) and teammate Youssef is leaving AIESEC USA. His term as a Salaam Coordinator is over but things he has done for us will be with AIESEC USA for a long long time from now on...
He changed so many lives with the program but he also made huge impact on people on team including me... I wish him all the best in his life and I am sure he will be very very successful...
We will definitely miss him on team and I will be only muslim on team from now on. So, all that crap and jokes we made about him will be directed to me ...
Good luck to me...hehe...
I seriously need to improve my English, especially my accent...hahaha...
Football: Champion's League, UEFA cup

Next week, I will go to Detroit for Team days... I am excited for for my trip to Detroit as well... Not only because it will be my first Team days, but also ... well, I love Romulos (BS...)
Right after Team Days, I am leaving to Azerbaijan for a week... in order to finalize my visa stuff , see my family and bring my winter clothes...
Basically, next 20 days looks like to be great...Let's live and see...
btw...my insurance is expired and I cant get one until I get my visa... if somethings happens to me... I have my will ready...hehe :)
The Hero

TUMER METIN- today's goalscorer... THE "GENERAL"
Football, football, football...
World's religion... The greatest sport of the World. The only sport that can make a peace and war, a game that can bring millions of people together... I just love it...
Today, it was World Cup qualifiers, and my heart was in Ukraine and also in Azerbaijan. In Ukraine, Turkey was playing against Ukraine and we needed to win in order to have a our chance to go to World Cup in Germany alive... We deserved it... With useless additional time, we did 2-2 draw with Denmark just couple of days ago and Greeks won 9 man Kazakistan 2-1 in last minutes today... But, that does not mean anything... We won in Ukraine... When goal was scored, I wanted to yell in he office... to yell as much as possible...
Azerbaijan played very good and got 1 point with draw against Austria in Baku...
Czechs won Armenians 4-1...Good job Czech Republic...
England lost 1-0 to Irish...
Bulgaria did miracle...From 2-0 down, Stoichkov's team won 3-2... I always loved personality of Stoichkov..
Germany scored 4 against South Africa.. Future Bayern player, Podolski scored hat-trick...
Overall, it was a great day!!!
Thank you Turkey... I am sure we will be in Germany 2006 and I will be there to support you...
GO TURKIYE, GO!!!
Russia in NYC...
Yesterday, I was in Russia... After moving in, cleaning out my room, I went to have dinner with my friend in Brighton. At a Turkish restaurant called LIMAN. I also saw Azeri restaurant called BAKU. I will visit them next time.
Brighton is so like Russia. I mean, everybody speaks Russian, shops are named in Russian, buildings look like Russian, young people are drinking and smoking like Russians... I mean, it was like really Russia in America. I loved it. I also heard a lot of Azeri and Turkish. It was really nice to hear those languages...
I will definitely go to Russia again...
3-day weekend
Yes yes yes...Weekend...
My CA adventures are over...Tomorrow returning back to NYC...Will probably finish Sales book on flight. Sunday, I will be moving to my new place. Got to do a lot of shopping and planing on Sunday and Monday. It will be great great weekend...I hope...
Under construction...

My life is under contruction right now... I am wondering how long will it take? My job, my AIESEC, my personal life, my family, my friends... and most of all, my personality... everything is changing...
