like I said on the nomadlife version, I think this is commenting on more than American's geographical knowledge which is the point where it becomes a bit offensive. And can someone please tell me what a mouse head is and why I should connect that with Canadians!?!?
I like it, there's some truth in it... I come from a small country in Europe called Switzerland, you might have heard of it. Usually when I tell people from the United States (except AIESECers) where I am from, they answer: oh nice, Sweden... and when I try to tell them that it isn't the same country, they usually don't see any difference, as it is "just somewhere in Europe"...
This has happened to almost all my friends (and several times) that have ever had to deal with Americans... So it's quite fun, whenever any of us is in the states now, we're just waiting for that sentence to come up: "oh nice, Sweden"...
But can you explain the Mouse Heads? I don't get that either
yeah, i was wondering about the "mouseheads" thing too, but it must be the non-american moron (aren't all non-americans?? ;-)) who incorrectly spelled "MOOSEheads"
...because as we know, all canadians are mooseheads
I have had/heard about some fantastic conversations about the geography of the United States while in Chile. They include such gems as: (when talking about why there is such a difference between Chile and Argentina) "well in places like the United States, it is the same all over because it is flat all over" ...yeah...
A friend from Vancouver went for a concert to Seattle, he got into conversation with some Americans... When asked where is he from he said Vancouver, they answered they have never heard of it and asked which US state it is... ?!
